The Online Services Portal of the City Council aims to become an accessible and universal communication channel for all citizens.
For this reason, the measures and criteria described below have been implemented in its construction, facilitating users' access to the information and services we provide with minimal difficulty.
Usability means placing users' needs at the center of design and content structuring. It aims to enable users to carry out the various available tasks effectively, efficiently, quickly, easily, and satisfactorily.
To achieve this goal, user feedback has been taken into account, with tests conducted on real users navigating from home.
It involves making the website accessible to as many users as possible, regardless of their characteristics (abilities/limitations, hardware, software, communications, etc.).
To this end, the website has been developed in accordance with the following standards:
The design has been created under the W3C recommendation on Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). If the browser or navigation device does not support style sheets, the website content remains fully readable thanks to its structural markup.
This website has been designed and programmed following the guidelines of the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative, www.w3.org/wai), which sets international standards for creating web content accessible to all. To analyze the accessibility of the portal, the Web Accessibility Test (TAW) has been used. The portal complies with Priority 2 (Double A Accessibility Level).
